The issue, (The colour of intelligence, THES, April 26) as Hans Eysenck observes, is one of free speech, the rest is politically-correct bullying. I should also point out that Mr Brand lives in Great Britain, not the former Stasi-infested East Germany. I urge those who do not share Mr Brand's views to argue with him through the medium of the academic journal or review. They have absolutely no right to vilify him.
I wish Mr Brand the best of luck in his search for an honourable publisher. I look forward to reading his book and examining his arguments in due course.
