Sawa University

Sawa University is a private university located in Samawah, Iraq. It offers a wide-range of courses across different disciplines like health and medical technologies, education, engineering technology and law. It was established in 2020 and is recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Iraq.

The university campus houses different facilities such as libraries, workshops and spacious classrooms. It has a dedicated Student Support and Career Development Centre, which provides numerous facilities to students such as career counselling, academic guidance, mentorship and counselling services. In addition to this, the university also regularly organises seminars, workshops, events and co-curricular activities to facilitate the holistic development of its students.

The Health and Medical Techniques Department has a curriculum designed to meet the evolving demands of the healthcare industry, and provides training in different specialised fields of medicine such as medical laboratoratory technique, optics, health administration, radiology, and anesthesia.

Its engineering technology college trains students in some core technologies like medical devices, air conditioning, medical physics and radiotherapy. The College of Education houses different departments like Department of English, Arabic and Quran Sciences.
