Quinnipiac University, founded in 1929, is a private, co-educational university enrolling 7,300 undergraduate and 3,200 graduate students. Quinnipiac’s suburban location in Hamden, CT, offers easy access to outdoor activities at Sleeping Giant State Park, is 10 minutes from New Haven and short ride away from New York City and Boston. The University offers more than 60 undergraduate majors and 30 graduate programs in business, communications, engineering, health sciences, nursing, social work, liberal arts, education, medicine and law.

Quinnipiac University educates students to be valued and contributing members of their communities through a vital, challenging and purposeful educational program. Students engage in real-world issues through practice and the consideration of different perspectives. Undergraduate programs at Quinnipiac offer a dynamic combination of classroom and hands-on learning through internships and clinical experiences designed to prepare students for career entry or advanced studies. Opportunities for student research, service learning, and study abroad experiences further enhance students’ academic and personal growth. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 16:1 and an average class size of about 25, Quinnipiac professors know their students by name and are readily accessible to each of them.
