About Dumlupinar University
Kütahya Dumlupinar University was established in Turkey in 1992, but has its roots in the Anadolu University. Its main campus is located in Kütahya, Western Turkey, an area known for its famous tiles and Yagcibedir carpets.
The university offers several undergraduate courses and programmes across 12 faculties: archaeology, civil engineering, computer engineering, English language and literature, finance, history, painting, mathematics, management, sociology, social science, and Turkish language and literature. Across these faculties, there are a range of programmes on offer, from ceramic engineering to animation movies, geological engineering to political science and international relations.
Students can take part in a range of student clubs on campus, including dance, insurance and risk management, photography and film, as well as the EU diplomatic club. The university also offers English reparatory classes for students looking to improve their English proficiency ahead of starting classes.
The university has a Foreign Relations Office that aims to facilitate opportunities for students wishing to travel, work or study in a new environment. Through internships, language courses, and educational courses, the office wishes to create a vibrant university atmosphere with students and lecturers from across the globe. There are three main international programmes: Erasmus+, Mavlana, and Farabi, allowing students to travel to countries such as the UK, Italy and France.
