About Veritas University, Abuja

Veritas University, Abuja is based in Abuja. It is a private institution founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos.

Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2007, it enrolled its first students the following year.

It was first established in Obehie in Abia State and then moved to its permanent 220 hectare campus in 2014.

Students are required to live on campus in dedicated student accommodation.

The university has five faculties including natural and applied sciences, management sciences, humanities, social sciences, education and postgraduate studies.

The Veritas Journal of Humanities is the first official journal from the university.
