About University of Dubai
As a subsidiary of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the University of Dubai offers a variety of business, law, engineering and IT programmes.
The campus is located in the newly-created Academic City in Dubai, an education hub housing key global and local internationally accredited universities.
There are five main academic departments at the university that include: business, engineering IT, law, general education, and philosophy. Across these departments there’s a range of bachelors courses on offer including finance, marketing, communication engineering, customs, and information system security. For postgraduate students, there are programmes in data science, business administration, and a range of MBAs.
Every year, senior students at the university have the chance to study abroad through the student exchange programme, allowing them to gain international cultural and language skills while learning in a completely different location.
Students at the University of Dubai can enjoy a range of clubs and organisations during their down time, including: gaming, football, table tennis, women council, Emirati club, and more. The university also hosts a range of events throughout the year from sporting tournaments to day trips and charity events.
Choosing the University of Dubai opens students up to various career development opportunities, made possible by the Internship and Career Centre. The centre facilitates 12-week field internships and two-year industry working experiences are on offer for students to develop the skills necessary for careers outside of university.
