About Andijan Machine-Building Institute
Andijan Machine-Building Institute can trace its origins back to 1976 as an educational centre, but it wasn't until 2011 that it launched as the Andijan Machine-Building Institute. To date, it's the only higher educational establishment in Central Asia focused specifically on machine-building.
There are currently three campuses set across Andijan city. These are comprised of six faculties, 24 departments and eight research laboratories.
Students can choose between 23 bachelor programmes, 12 master's programmes, 8 PhD programmes, seven double degree bachelor programmes and one double degree master programme.
The office of international cooperation conducts external relations with global partners, encourages further scientific pedagogical exchange and sends teachers and students for training at educational institutions around the world. The university currently has ties with more than 30 countries across Europe and Asia.
