About Federal University of Technology, Minna

The Federal University of Technology, Minna was established in 1983.

The university is one of Nigeria’s three federal universities of technology.

The university still operates from the original Bosco site as well as the main Gidon Kwano campus.

There are schools of agriculture and agricultural technology, infrastructure process engineering and technology, innovation technology, environmental technology, life sciences, physical sciences, engineering and engineering technology, science and technical education and information and communications technology.

The Centre for Distance Learning and e-Informatics was launched in October 2020.

It has published the Nigeria Journal of Technical Research since 1995 and operates the Academic Publishing Centre for universities in north-central Nigeria.
