About University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Founded in 1970 as the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, the institution was granted university status in 1981. It has four main campuses: Newark, Stratford, Camden and Piscataway/New Brunswick. Its eight schools offer graduate degrees and certificates and 25 undergraduate programmes in 52 fields of study.
