About Al-Iraqia University

Al- Iraqia University is a public university located in the Adhamiyah district of Baghdad, Iraq. It was founded in 1989 and offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in different disciplines such as sciences, humanities, applied medicine, engineering, media and arts, law, education, and other subjects.

The university has a well-built modern infrastructure which includes libraries, lectures halls, student residences and designated parking spaces. Several conferences, festivals and exhibitions are held throughout the year.
In addition to this, the university has dedicated journals, research centres and learning facilities to boost the research interests of its students. Al- Iraqia university also has dedicated centres of learning like the Center of Continuing Education, Centre of Islamic Studies, and the Electronic Computer Centre.

Al- Iraqia University is a member of the Federation of International Universities and Federation of Arab Universities. It focuses on international collaboration and hosts students from over 45 Arab countries.
