About National Forestry University of Ukraine
The National Forestry University of Ukraine is a specialist academic institution located in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. It was established in 1874.
The university offers different courses through its six closely-related faculties: forestry, forest engineering and mechanics, woodworking technology, economics, corresponding studies, and post-diploma training.
The National Forestry University of Ukraine has a well-built campus with modern amenities including residential halls, library, and, recreational centres, and internet facilities.
It houses several research institutions and ecological laboratories providing students with the opportunity to engage in academic research and innovation.
In addition to this, the university has also forged key partnerships with universities and institutions across the globe. Some of these include leading wood technology and timber engineering institutions – Inverness College of the University of Highlands and Islands UHI, Forestry Commission Scotland and the Confor Forestry Association.
The university offers its students the opportunity to gain hands-on skills through its advanced workplace training programmes. The university is also home to research institutions such as the Stradch Educational Forestry Enterprise, the Educational and Consulting Centre in Khust (Trans Carpathian region), the Carpathian and Polissya Research Forest Ecology Laboratories.
