About University of Tripoli
Founded in 1957, the University of Tripoli (UOT) is the largest university in Libya and is located in its capital, Tripoli. It was initially founded as a branch of the University of Libya before it was divided in 1973 to become what is now known as the University of Tripoli.
Students can study a variety of subjects at undergraduate, graduate and PhD level within the following faculties: science, agriculture, engineering, information technology, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, fine arts and media, physical education, law, education, medicine, languages, and economics and political sciences.
On campus, students will find a library, housing and sports facilities.
The university has established relationships with universities around the world, carrying out various exchange activities such as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and the opportunity for students to study abroad. The university welcomes students to its campus too.
