About Universidad Nacional del Litoral
A university that is full of life with its natural roots is Universidad Nacional del Litoral. With the university being founded in 1918 as the result of a university reform movement, the proud heritage still stands.
With its vast number of courses, it focuses on five main areas: art and human sciences; social sciences; engineering, technology and agricultural sciences; health and biological sciences and exact and natural sciences.

One distinguished graduate is Rogelio Pfirter. He was the director general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from 2002 to 2010 after graduating as a lawyer from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral. He also went on to receive a number of international awards, including the Grand Cross of the Orden of Merit from Chile.
Universidad Nacional del Litoral is situated in Santa Fe, east from the centre of Argentina and at the heart of the Region of Litoral.
