About Graphic Era University
The Graphic Era University has its roots with the Graphic Era Institute which was formed in 1993. It gained university status in 2008. It offered undergraduate programmes in engineering and allied sciences.
The university is located in Uttarakhand, a state in northern India near the Himalayas. The campus is in Clement Town, Dehradun which borders Rajaji National Park. Clement Town is known for its military educational institutions including the Indian Military Academy, National Defence Academy, St Patrick’s Academy and Army Public School. This makes for a large student population in the area.
Undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programmes are offered at Graphic Era University in the fields of: engineering, management, commerce, humanities and social sciences, life sciences, hotel management and hospitality, nursing, and paramedical sciences.
As part of the university’s expanding digitalisation, students can access lots of resources from home including the digital library which is an app that allows students to read books and textbooks from their phones and laptops instead of visiting the library itself.
