About Sharda University
Sharda University is a member of the Sharda Group of Institutions, founded by P.K. Gupta and Y.K. Gupta in 1996. Today, the Sharda Group is the largest educational group based in Uttar Pradesh, with a student body of more than 17,000 and over 900 faculty members.
The university is located in Greater Noida, a planned city in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Academically, the university is organised into 14 schools: engineering and technology, business studies, design, architecture and planning, media, film and entertainment, law, humanities and social science, dental science, allied health sciences, medical science and research, basic sciences and research, nursing science and research, pharmacy, education, and agricultural sciences. Each school is divided into different departments, which offer a wide range of degree programmes at both undergraduate and graduate degree level.
From sports clubs to cultural events, art competitions and music projects there is something on offer for all students.
