About Skema Business School

SKEMA Business School was formed as a non-profit organisation in 2009 through the merging of two French schools: Groupe ESC Lille and CERAM Business School, which were founded in 1892 and 1963 respectively.

The school operates various campuses internationally: in Lille and Paris in France; in Sophia Antipolis near Nice; Suzhou in China; Belo Horizonte in Brazil; and in Raleigh, North Carolina in the US, in association with North Carolina State University. It also plans to expand to Australia, India and Russia.

The Lille campus has about 2,200 students over 16,000 square metres. It is partnered with the Lille 2 University of Health, with which it has joint programmes.

The Nice campus is located in the Sophia Antipolis technology park and has a partnership with Science Po Aix, offering joint programmes that allow business students to study political sciences.

The name, SKEMA, comes from the Greek word skhêma, meaning shape, figure or formation of an object, and is also an acronym for School of Knowledge Economy and Management.

SKEMA offers a BBA in global management, various masters including an MBA that can be done full-time in 12 months or part-time in 24 months, and doctoral and executive education programmes internationally - in China, France, Brazil and in the US.

There are two doctoral programmes taught in English, in management science and in strategy, programme and project management. The MBA is also taught in English, aimed at those with a minimum of three years business experience.
