Best universities in the UK, according to Times Higher Education
The University of Cambridge takes the top spot in The Guardian newspaper’s university league table for the seventh year running.
The University of Oxford and University of St Andrews also maintain their second and third positions from the 2017 table. Durham University jumps two places to take fourth place and the University of Bath climbs five places to complete the top five.
Loughborough University, Imperial College London, University of Warwick, Lancaster University and the University of Surrey make up the rest of the top 10.
