About Baker College of Royal Oak Campus

Baker College of Clinton Township is ideally situated for students who live in the area surrounding the city of Detroit. The roots of Baker College trace back to the turn of the 20th century, with the founding of Muskegon College by Woodbridge Ferris, who later became Governor of Michigan.

Throughout the years since, the schools continued to thrive and the group began to expand its outreach through the acquisition of other schools and locations – including Clinton Township.

Clinton Township offers programmes such as: nursing, radiologic technology, surgical technology, human resources, automotive services, teacher prep, therapeutic massage, computer information systems, internet security, veterinary technician, marketing, management, accounting, business administration, administrative assistant, and many more.

Preparing students for the real world is paramount to Baker College, and so courses are taught in classrooms and labs with the latest technologies that mimic the real-world working environment.

Baker College has been recognised with a gold ranking for the second year in a row by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency’s (MVAA) Veteran-Friendly School Programme. It recognises Michigan colleges and universities for their commitment to veterans and their dependents attending school under the GI Bill.

Clinton Township also is one of the most populated townships in Macomb county, and has the most parks or recreational areas, compared to any other town or city in the county, which makes it a pleasurable environment for students.
