About University of New Hampshire

The University of New Hampshire is a public research university located in Durham, New Hampshire in the US. It was founded in 1866.

There are 11 schools and colleges at the university offering more than 200 programmes of study. The colleges and schools include the Casey School of Public Policy, engineering and physical sciences, health and human services, liberal arts, life sciences and agriculture, the graduate school, marine science and ocean engineering, Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, Thompson School of Applied Science and UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law among others.

The university has a student to staff ratio of 19:1 meaning that there are smaller classes with a greater chance for interaction with teachers and lecturers.

The university has three campuses - the main campus in Durham, a second campus in Manchester, New Hampshire and a third Concord which is home to the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law.

There are more than 360 clubs and activities for students to get involved with including anime club, baking club, cycling club, Judo club, student nursing organisation, entrepreneurship club, photography society and many more.

There are a few libraries on campus including the main Dimond Library and three science libraries specialising in chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics, and engineering
