Times Higher Education launches major teaching survey

This survey has now closed.

Is teaching valued at your institution? How do your students respond to your teaching? Are standards holding up? Should academics be available electronically to students at all times of day?

These are just some of the issues explored in Times Higher Education’s inaugural teaching survey. Both academics and professional staff, from the UK and overseas, are encouraged to have their say on the status, efficacy and assessment of pedagogy.

John Gill, editor of Times Higher Education, said: “While research has been king in higher education for many years, there is an increasing sense that teaching’s time has come. So now feels like the perfect time to have a real in-depth look at how academics and professional and support staff feel about teaching. We hope there will be many responses, and we will publish the results in the new year.”
