Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Bagh

Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Bagh was established in 2014 to provide equal access to higher education and research activities for women in the region as the only female university of the state. The university specialises in arts and social science, sciences, and medicine, dentistry and pharmacy.

Across its faculties, a range of bachelors and master's degrees are on offer, including chemistry, botany, surgical and operation theatre science, English, and sports sciences. The degree programmes range from two to four years. There are various scholarship options that prospective students can take advantage of.

The university’s campus has a range of modern facilities, including a video conference room, seminar hall, science laboratories, and classrooms.

Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is located in the Pakistani city of Bagh, situated 100km from Muzaffafrabad and on the confluence of the rivers, Mahlwani and Mahl.
