关于 Kesmonds International University
Kesmonds International University was founded to focus on entrepreneurial education for students. The university’s programmes are centred around a virtual campus, aiming to solve the problems of distance learning for international students facing financial difficulties, living in remote localities or crisis-affected regions, or those who must work for certain reasons alongside their studies.
Kesmonds International University focuses on a virtual learning environment so students can schedule, enhance job skills alongside their studies, and to keep the tuition as affordable as possible. However, there are campuses and distance learning centres in countries with limited internet access.
Although the campus is virtual, students have the opportunity to share ideas, learn from others and meet new people through forums, E-Chat and their KIU network. Students may also interact with prominent scientists, scholars, engineers and students from across the world through the E-Conference platform.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate education is offered at the university across its five schools of health and medical sciences, agriculture and medical sciences, arts and social sciences, business and management sciences, and engineering science and technology.
Undergraduate courses include certificate programmes with a duration of 12-16 weeks, diploma programmes between 12-18 months, associates degree of 18 months, bachelor’s degrees which usually have a duration of three years, as well as top-up bachelor’s degrees. For postgraduate prospective students, there are diplomas with a duration of 9-12 months, master’s degrees between one and two years, and doctorate degrees which take three years to complete.
