Al-Zahraa University for Women

Located in Iraq, Al-Zahraa University for Women is a non-profit institution. Established in 2018, Iraq’s first female university is located between the Holy Governorate of Karbala, and the capital city, Baghdad.

The university’s academic offering is spread across its three main faculties: education, health and medical technologies, and pharmacy. Within these faculties, students can choose from courses such as Arabic language, English, mathematics, anesthesia, radiologic technology, physiotherapy, and pharmacy.
