关于 Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa
Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa was established in the Turkish city as a new university in 2018 following a separation from Istanbul University, but has its roots dating back to 1453. The university, located in Istanbul, now has eight campuses across the city: Acvilar, Cerrahpasa, Bahcekoy, Bakirkoy, Buyukcekmece, Sultangazi, Sisli, and Haseki. The university offers 44 undergraduate degrees, 121 master’s programmes, and 111 doctoral degrees across a range of subject areas.
The university has 12 faculties, six institutes, five vocational colleges offering undergraduate degrees, master’s programmes, associate’s degrees, and doctoral programmes in areas including medicine, engineering, forestry, veterinary medicine, and education. The faculties of economics, business administration and pharmacy are currently in their establishment process.
There are six institutes at the university, offering specialised programmes in areas of forensic sciences and legal medicine, pneumonopathy and tuberculosis, cardiology, neurosciences, graduate studies, and nanotechnology and biotechnology.
Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa has a range of sporting facilities on its campuses including equestrian training schools, swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts. Students can also enjoy a total of 95 student clubs to develop new skills and meet new people outside of the classroom including horse riding, archery, basketball, football and squash. Non-sporting student clubs include performing arts, music, conservation, design, computer, and foreign trade club.
The university has many international opportunities for students to live and study abroad through their Erasmus, Mevlana and Farabi exchange programmes.
