关于 Ramon Llull University
Ramon Llull University is a private university in Barcelona, Spain. It was established in 1990. The university is inspired by Humanist and Christian ideals promoting public service.
The university is named after Ramon Llull, a famous writer and philosopher born in the 13th century.
It is currently formed of 11 different colleges which specialise in different topics. Many of these colleges are located in downtown Barcelona. Some of these institutions include La Salle Engineering and Architecture, the Pere Tarres University School of Social Studies, Borja Institute of Bioethics and ESD1 Higher School of Design among others.
Additionally there are nine faculties, four high schools, one university school and three university institutes at the university.
The aim of the institution is to encourage, transmit and support a culture of shared quality and excellence. The university also aims to create a relationship between quality and innovation.
The Ramon Llull University Student Council is the representative body for students. It is a place where they can express their opinions and vote on academic matters.
The university has strong international ties with institutions all over the world. There are more than 630 agreements with universities globally and the different centres maintain relations with more than 90 international alumni networks. Students from 114 different nationalities attend the university.
A number of courses are taught in English across the arts and humanities, sciences, health sciences, social and legal sciences and engineering and architecture. There are English-taught programmes at bachelor's level, master's level and in a selection of PhD programmes.
