Established in 1998 and triple accredited, the University of Exeter Business School is the business school of the University of Exeter. It was created through the merger of the departments of management, economics, accounting and finance.
Some 3,000 students study at the school, of which 2,000 are undergraduates, 900 are postgraduate and MBA and 92 are following postgraduate research courses. Approximately 93 different nationalities are represented across the student body.
The school has six departments - accounting; economics; finance; management; SITE (science, innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship) and sustainable futures.
Its undergraduate courses include: accounting and finance; accounting and business; business and management; management with marketing; business; economics; business economics; economics with econometrics; economics and finance and economics and oolitics.
There is a wide-range of master's options: accounting and finance; accounting and taxation; international management; the Exeter MBA; marketing; human resource management; international tourism management; management; global political economy; economics; economics; economics and econometrics; behavioural economics and finance; financial economics; money, economics; financial analysis and fund management; finance and investment; finance and management; finance and marketing; marketing (online); financial mathematics; engineering business management; international supply chain management and creativity: innovation and business strategy.
MPhil/PhD programmes are available in accounting, economics, finance and leadership studies with MRes courses in management and economics.
Exeter has 50 partner institutions in 24 countries worldwide and offers double degrees with second year options to study in institutions including: Grenoble Ecole de Management ; EBS University of Business and Law and the Fudan University School of Economics. There is also a one semester exchange programme for students studying the MSc in international management. Institutions involved in this include the University of Mannheim, Università Bocconi and HEC Lausanne, Switzerland.
Exeter’s Research Centres range over a number of key areas and networks. They are: Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute (LEEP); Exeter Centre for Leadership; Tax Administration Research Centre (TARC); Centre for Simulation, Analytics and Modelling; Centre for Circular Economy and the Research Methods Centre.
