Study in Israel

From biblical times to present day, this little slice of holy land has long attracted visitors with its alluring sights and Mediterranean climate.

Israel’s landscapes are diverse, meaning that there is something out there for everyone. Mountains, deserts and fertile valleys can all be found, while the Dead Sea, Red Sea, Sea of Galilee and Mediterranean coastlines offer both unique geological sights and seaside resorts.

There’s always something going on and something for every taste, making it a beacon for students. Highlights include the Jerusalem International Film Festival, Acco Festival of Alternative Israeli Theatre and the annual Tiberias Marathon.

The three major cities of Israel are Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa all with their own individual personalities and student experiences.

While Jerusalem is the capital, Tel Aviv is arguably Israel’s most liberal and cosmopolitan space, and is home to young entrepreneurs, corporate offices and hosts an exciting nightlife. The Tel Aviv University, is based in the so called 24-hour city, however there are nine universities in total across Israel.

Famous Israelis include blockbuster actress Natalie Portman, actress Gal Gadot and rock singer Gene Simmons.
