The latest issue of Scot-Rail's magazine Horizon has a two-page article on how to survive the trauma of entering higher education north of the border. It includes the following canny advice: "If you haven't got a Scottish accent, don't fake it, you'll end up sounding like Richard Attenborough in Jurassic Park."
