Th Guardian newspaper has published its 2017 UK university ranking, with Loughborough University, the University of Leeds and Falmouth University among those climbing the table.
The University of Cambridge tops the Guardian University Guide for a sixth year, followed by the University of Oxford and the University of St Andrews. The University of Surrey and Loughborough are tied in fourth place.

The Guardian's top 10 is completed by Durham University, Imperial College London, Lancaster University, the University of Warwick and the University of Bath. Meanwhile, Leeds climbed from 23rd position to 16th; Falmouth climbed 10 places to number 21; and City University London jumped from 37th to 18th.
